1. Make Sure the device is Connected to the Internet
First and foremost, make sure your device is connected to the internet, as you need the internet to successfully install addons from ZIP files hosted online. Check your device’s network connection by accessing another app or simply visiting a website using a web browser.
If you use a VPN (which is recommended when streaming), make sure you are connected to the server. You may also try enabling Proxy Server on Kodi by accessing Settings (cog icon) > System > Internet Access > General.
2. Enable Unknown Sources on THE Device
For security reasons, many streaming devices disable app installation from sources other than the official App Store by default.
