Since STRMR is not officially available on FireStick and Android TV devices running Android TV OS (such as Nvidia Shield and Mi Box), you can install it using the sideloading method provided in this guide.

1. Install Downloader App

We will use the Downloader app to sideload STRMR. Downloader is available directly from the Amazon App Store.

Steps:

  1. From the FireStick home screen, navigate to Find
  2. Click Search
  3. Type Downloader and select it from the search results
  4. Click the Downloader icon
  5. Click Get / Download
  6. Wait for Downloader to install
  7. Click Open
  8. When prompted, click Allow to grant permission
  9. Click OK on the Quick Start Guide screen

2. Turn ON Install Unknown Apps

Now we will allow FireStick to install third-party apps.

Steps:

  1. Go back to the FireStick home screen
  2. Click the Gear icon (Settings) on the top menu
  3. Select My Fire TV
  4. Open Developer Options
  5. Click Install unknown apps

Note:
If you see Apps from Unknown Sources, turn it ON and skip the next step.

  1. Select Downloader
  2. Turn it ON

3. Install STRMR on FireStick

This is the final step where we download and install STRMR.

Steps:

  1. Hold the Home button on your FireStick remote for 5 seconds
  2. Select Apps
  3. Open Downloader
  4. On the Downloader home screen, click the URL field
  5. Enter the following URL:

  1. Click Go
  2. Once the website loads, dismiss any pop-ups if shown
  3. Navigate to the Download section
  4. Click the STRMR APK (ARM version) suitable for FireStick
  5. Wait for the APK file to download
  6. Click Install
  7. Wait for the installation to complete
  8. Click Done

To save storage space:
14. Click Delete
15. Click Delete again to confirm

STRMR is now successfully installed on your FireStick.
