How to Install The Coalition Kodi Addon
Let’s get on with the installation process of The Coalition Kodi Addon on your device.
1. Allow Unknown Sources within Kodi
The Coalition needs to be downloaded from an external source. Kodi’s default settings do not permit the installation of third-party add-ons like The Coalition.
If you’re installing an unofficial add-on on Kodi for the first time, you’ll need to enable the installation of unofficial or third-party add-ons. Here’s how to do it:
1. Begin by opening the Kodi application on your device.
2. Find and access the settings/gear icon positioned in either the upper left or upper right corner of the screen.
3. Within the options presented, choose System.
4. Navigate to Add-ons in the left menu pane. Then, toggle the switch for Unknown Sources located on the right side of the screen.
5. Expect a Warning message to appear on the screen.
Read this before proceeding.
It says the Add-ons/Builds will be given access to personal data stored on your device.
Now, if you do not want your personal data accessed by third-party Builds, it is important to use a reliable VPN like ExpressVPN while streaming through a third-party Add-on.
Proceed by clicking Yes on the prompt.
2. Install Repository Containing The Coalition Kodi Addon
The Coalition add-on is part of The Crew is the repository. Now, let’s proceed with downloading and installing the Kodi repository. Follow these steps carefully:
1. Return to the Kodi home screen and click on Settings (Gear Icon) once more.
2. Navigate to File Manager and click on it.
3. Select Add Source.
4. A window will appear. Click on <None>.
5. Enter the URL for The Coalition addon repository:
https://team-crew.github.io
Double-check for any typos. When you’re ready, click OK.
6. Give this source an identifiable name. I am naming it Crew, but you may use any name you prefer. Hit OK.
7. Click OK again to confirm.
8. Return to the Settings screen and this time, go to Add-ons.
9. Click on Install From Zip File.
10. Select Yes to proceed.
11. Click on the source name (Crew in my case) you added in step 6.
12. Choose repository.thecrew-x.x.zip (x represents the version number).
13. Wait until you see the message “The Crew Repo add-on installed” pop up in the upper-right corner.

3. Install Coalition Kodi Addon
We will now download and install The Coalition add-on from this repository. Follow these steps:
1. From the Add-ons page, select Install From Repository.
2. Choose The Crew Repo.
3. Navigate to Video Add-ons.
4. Look for and select The Coalition.
5. Click Install located at the lower right side of the Kodi screen.
6. The Coalition add-on will begin to download and then install.
7. Wait until you see The Coalition Add-on installed message appear on the top-right side of the screen.
How to Use The Coalition Addon on Kodi
Once installed, you can access the addon from the Kodi home screen under Add-ons > Video add-ons.
Click The Coalition icon to launch it on Kodi.
